About Estate Otono
This villa was designed by world-class architects Juan Collignon and Manolo Mestre. Their integrated architectural style blends the natural with elements of contemporary design. Mestre, who is an eco-friendly designer, uses warm colors and simplistic design alongside modern conveniences, creating an appealing and relaxing experience. The building is connected by pathways, which are over large reflection pools. Walking across these pathways can make it feel like this house stands over the Pacific ocean!
In the center of this home, you’ll find the grand palapa. This living and dining terrace rests beneath a palm-thatched roof. It’s bathed in the sun and is kept cool by the breeze coming from the ocean. In any direction that you look, you’ll see breathtaking ocean views. You’ll be able to dine on a beautiful, craftsman-made table made from sustainable tropical wood. The table can seat 12, which means everyone in your party will be able to enjoy the beautiful views.
The indoor dining table lies beneath soft lights and a vaulted ceiling. It’s a wonderful place to relax and dine. All around, you’ll find bright arts and crafts created by natives. On its border, you’ll see a reflective pool. This is a wonderful place to go when you want to get away from the elements.
The spacious kitchen is a blend of functionality and great design. There are beautiful windows that face out towards the ocean. Just beyond the kitchen is an outdoor patio which is home to a charming breakfast nook. Bordered by a pond, this is a fantastic place to enjoy a simple meal or a more lavish dinner.
